Health Education This health education course will focus on the understanding of health from the individualistic view to the outward environment. In order to fully understand the effects of nutrition, drugs, relationships, media, mental illnesses, disease, etc. one must first understand the human body. Students will be expected to comprehend health topics, constructively analyze them, and be able to relate them with a biological method. This course will take students on a full circle approach to health and wellness.
Physical Education This physical education course will target the development and enhancement of each student’s individual overall fitness. The fitness categories that students will focus on will include areas of flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, muscular fitness, muscular endurance, and body composition. This class will increase overall knowledge, abilities, skills, team work ethic, and attitudes toward leading a healthy lifestyle. This will be achieved through individual workout effort as well as group and team sport activities.
