There are four main parts of the brain, which include the Frontal lobe, the Parietal lobe, The Occipital lobe, and the Temporal Lobe.
First off, the Frontal lobe is the section of the brain that will control your parts of speech, emotions, personality, and reasoning to name some examples, the Parietal Lobe location is behind the frontal lobe in which this lobe is the main component with your five senses in which would be your touch, smell, and taste. Next, the Occipital lobe which is located in the end of the cerebrum, this one helps with your visual activity from your eyes, which includes things like patterns and colors that are processed from the Occipital lobe. Lastly, the last of the four main parts of the brain is the Temporal lobe, this is the part which helps with your hearing/auditory. It also accounts for your memory. To keep these extremely important parts of your brain healthy we can help immensely by having a better diet as your brain needs about 20% of your body's energy, while also having a good sleep habit with you getting at least 8 hour of valid sleep, as you actually get rid of toxins built up from your brain when you sleep.

Study shows that you can get better at things if you work really hard and by challenging yourself. Our brain is made up of 86 billion neurons. The neurons are wired together and they send electrical and chemical signals. One neuron can be connected to 10,000 other neurons. When we think, sense, or feel the signals travel. Brain Researchers say that when we learn new connections form, other connections grow stronger and unused connections are destroyed. The more you learn the stronger and smarter your network of neurons will become. People with a fixed mindset tackle problems in a different way rather than how those with a growth mindset. Babies are the best example for a growth mindset. Many successful people have a growth mindset too. People with a fixed mindset think that you are either dumb or smart. These different mindsets have different points of views and having the right one is what matters in order to have a good mindset.
Have you ever wondered why your joints make a popping sound when you pop them? Well , get this, it is actually nitrogen bubbles bursting in your synovial fluid. Which means that joint automatically make nitrogen bubbles over periods of time, because of the synovial fluid that serves as a lubricant for them. These bubbles can build up in the spaces of a joint, and cause the joint to feel tight Which causes your joints to crack. Is this harmful? Though it might hurt over a period of time it is not harmful and it is a myth that if you pop your neck, fingers elbows shoulders etc.. This passage also states that “Chronic knuckle-cracking may lead to reduced grip strength. And there are at least two published reports of injuries suffered while people were trying to crack their knuckles.” So remember there can maybe consequences to popping your knuckles but it is very rare. TUESDAY, Aug. 24, 2021 (HealthDay News) – The coronavirus pandemic has posed significant challenges for many, but it did not appear to drive U.S. preteens and young teens to drugs.
Repeated surveys of more than 7,800 10- to 14-year-olds between September 2019 and August 2020 found the overall rate of drug use remained stable, according to the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). What did change was their drugs of choice: Alcohol use fell, while use of prescription drugs and tobacco products rose. "Adolescents have experienced a year of turmoil and stress in precarious space between childhood and adulthood," said NIDA Director Dr. Nora Volkow. "Recognizing how the stress of the past year translates into substance use has profound implications into adulthood, because drinking and drug use at these ages are associated with a substantially higher risk of long-term alcohol and drug use disorders and related harms," Volkow said in a NIDA news release. The new study piggybacked on an ongoing, long-term of U.S. study of brain development and child health known as the ABCD Study, short for Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development. It had already been following this age group. Researchers used data from that study to make direct comparisons between substance use before and during the pandemic, Volkow said. Older teens' substance use also held steady or even declined, according to several earlier studies. To find out what was happening with younger teens and preteens, researchers surveyed them and their families in May, June and August of last year. Their use of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, other drugs and misuse of prescription drugs was examined.
